Ready your tents, it’s almost Camp time!

It’s March, which means in just one measly month it’s time for the April rendition of Camp NaNoWriMo. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Camp NaNoWriMo is a month-long writing project by the same people who run the better-known NaNoWriMo. There are two Camps each year, one in April and one in July. Last year I drafted by WIP Novella, Going Home, during the July version of the project. The only real difference between Camp NaNo and the regular NaNoWriMo is, as far as I know, that during Camp you get to set your own word-count goal, making it better suited for short fiction and Novellas than NaNoWriMo with it’s set goal of 50k words is.

I’m not sure what I’ll be doing for Camp next month, but I am sure I’ll be doing something. I love these projects, and April is a great month for me to be productive too because I’ll be in-between courses. I’ve given myself the next week to decide on a project, so that I have a bit of time to prepare before it’s April, so I’ll be updating the blog to let ya’ll know my plans shortly.
