Last night I handed in a long overdue assignment. It didn’t turn out very well, but I’m holding out hope that it turned out well enough and that I won’t have to re-do it. Next week I’m moving on to the next module on my to-study list, but this week I’m giving myself a bit of a break from Uni.
Not studying for a week means that my pre-lunch productivity block will be empty, so I’m shuffling things around a bit this week. Here’s how it’ll look:
- 90 minutes of worldbuilding between 7:00 and 9:00
- 2 hours of writing between 10:00 and 13:00
- 90 minutes of worldbuilding between 15:00 and 17:00
As you can see, writing has been placed earlier in the day, and a second worldbuilding block has been added. I’ve also lengthened my “lunch break”, because I’m watering my best friend’s cats while she’s away this week, so I’ll use the 2 hour break to eat and then bike over there and back. I figured a break in my studied would be a good opportunity to add on some extra worldbuilding, since that’s what I’m feeling most excited about right now. It’ll be nice to progress at a bit of a quicker pace this week!
As for Camp NaNo, I had an unproductive weekend but a 1.2k day today, so I’m still where I should be considering what my goal is. I hope to get ahead a bit this week, too. On Friday, I posted another piece of flash fiction called The Struggle which is a small, silly thing but I sort of like it. Me and my boyfriend also just got a new-ish computer up and running instead of the old one and boy is it nice! So quick and quiet.
All in all, it’s been a good week, and I have high hopes that this one will be loads of fun!
Keep making progress when and where you can!
I always try to 🙂
Sounds fantastically productive – and a new, faster computer is always a good thing!
Not to mention quieter!!
