As you may have noticed, I ended up skipping my ThinkKit prompt yesterday. It was about rants and raves, encouraging bloggers to get up on the soapbox about some issue and I skipped it because: a) when I try to soapbox in writing it tends to become long and incoherent and I upset myself in the process of writing it and b) I was busy figuring out the compile feature in Scrivener. Today the prompt is to talk about something you’re really looking forward to next year. Super easy, for me.
I just can’t wait to be able to say “last year I published my debut novella”. I actually get a little giddy, like your crush smiles at you or your favorite TV couple are being adorable, when I think about it. It’s going to be awesome! That is all.
ThinkKit is a blog project, with daily prompts in December. Friends who are also doing this are Zee Southcombe and Amanda Staley.
Nice! I’m looking forward to being able to call myself an ‘author’, though going wordless might be cheating lol.
Well done for setting your goal and sticking to it. I’m looking forward to reading it. The excerpts were great.
Totally not cheating!
I look forward to seeing what you think 🙂
